The Power Of Reddit
Wow! Just had the biggest 24 hours of sales of my album I've ever had. Why? A thread on reddit.com, in which they gave me a shoutout for giving them a shoutout for giving me a shoutout a couple months back.
Thanks, guys, for giving me your support. It means a ton to me, both personally AND from the standpoint of being able to continue to create music. Albums like Calling All Dawns are hideously expensive (more than many people's homes!) and time consuming (four years!) to do. I'd like to be able to do more, and every album I sell gets me one step closer to being able to do so.
(By the way, doing these albums is *entirely* a labor of love. My day job is actually my film and video game scoring. Every penny made by selling an album goes into repaying the expense of making the first one, and financing the next one.)
