A Strange Video From Japan

I wish I knew what was happening here!

I think someone did some clever cutting and created an anime dance number out of Baba Yetu. Oh how I wish I spoke Japanese.

That's hilarious and impressive. Especially when the female lead dancer / singer sings Swahili in a male voice.

Dear Christopher Tin,

I want to thank you very much for your Baba Yetu song! I love it and it comforts me when I feel sad. It is the best music I have ever heard in my life.

When I found out that Baba Yetu is the Swahili version of the Our Lord prayer, I even became more happy with this song.

Greetings from The Netherlands,

Henk Jan

it says "Baba Yetu could mean 'Please marry me Miss Azusa (one of the 3 girl characters dancing?)" The reasoning is far-fetched but based on a theory that a prayer to a pagan goddess symbolically meant "I want to have sex with the goddess." in the ancient period. as far as the ticker-like comments during the video, they are random comments about the girls and other things but there are frequent comments that your song is a masterpiece. keep your translation requests coming!

The best way to buy the nike dunks sb is through internet. Browse the internet for several online Nike stores, get into their websites, look for all nike sb dunk brands, compare the prices, varieties of models available, colors, and styles and add the shopping cart in a store where one can get their sb dunk shoes matches to one's requirement and wait for your dream Nike shoe.

Hello,

bumped into this post while looking around after placing order for Calling All Dawns. The original source of the video is from the game called IDOLM@STER, which features dance sequence for its own soundtrack. Though the sequences are naturally made for a specific song in the game, and the game does not allow much camera control and has no clipping/editing on its own, there is a group of people on the video sharing site (Nico Nico Douga) who employs some neat cutting and compositing skills to make videos like this. It's still funny that you happened to see the video; the guy who made this must be a big fan of Civ4 and Baba Yetu, so he should be really thrilled :)
